Zachary B. Kemper

I grew up in Santa Clarita, CA but soon realized that I needed something bigger than the suburbs. I attended Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, commuting from SCV to DTLA studying Theatre everyday. I learned a lot in those years, quickly learning the responsibility that came with my newfound independence. After a year adventure in New York City post graduation I came back to the West Coast. Now residing in Studio City. Since then, I have created and directed two song cycles which proceeds went back to the children's musical theatre company ESCAPE. I've directed "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and "Newsies!" with the children's theatre camp Catskills West in Beverly Hills. I created and starred in "A Song for your Mixtape" which was a Vimeo Staff Pick and screened in the Boys Short Program at Outfest.  I just finished filming my first feature film, "Hollow Bedrooms" directed by Omar Solas Zamora. I am constantly taking photographs of my friends. I am studying Sociology. I am happy to be alive.
